Our purpose goes beyond doing our ‘job’ and includes making a positive impact on our people, candidates, clients and the communities where we operate. It’s the ‘why’ behind what we do.

What We Do

Over 35 years ago, Robert Walters set out to build a global recruitment business that is differentiated based on the quality of our service and the integrity of our people. As the company has grown, we remain committed to the same principles that have driven our success from the very beginning — a strong team-based culture that puts clients and candidates first. We have a passion for quality in all we do, a commitment to treating people with integrity, and an innovative spirit that propels us to constantly improve. Across our global team, we’re ultimately interested in building long-term relationships — and it's our consultative approach that has set us apart, cementing our reputation as the recruiter of choice, trusted by the world’s leading organisations and professionals. Work Environment

Company Qualities

Giving back globally and sustainably.

We're committed to building a sustainable future for people and our planet. Building a sustainable approach to business has been an integral part of Robert Walters' culture since 1985. It started with creating a fulfilling environment for our people to work in and instilling a belief in doing recruitment the right way. We developed a genuinely passionate group of people who are driven to look after our clients for the long-term. Our people stayed with us, developing lasting careers and grew the business across the globe, taking our unique culture with them. A part of this culture is making sure we stay committed to giving back and supporting the communities we work and live in. Whether it be at our annual Global Charity Day, our Global Angels program, or various local sponsorships, our dynamic Japan team finds creative ways to give back to society and have fun while doing so.
