Since our establishment, Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. has become one of the leading distributors of Asian Food products. We are determined to excel in meeting any and all expectations. Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. was established in Kobe, Japan in 1912 and is one of the oldest and most experienced importer, wholesaler and distributor of Asian food products in North America. We celebrated the 100th year anniversary in 2012 and we are extremely proud of the success and the growth of the Company which now holds eighteen (19) branches and five (4) satellite offices with over 1,070 employees throughout United States and Canada. We have achieved this success through the hard work of our employees, who have superior knowledge and experience in this industry. Our growth and success can also be attributed to the continued support and cooperation of our customers and suppliers. For this we would like to express our sincere appreciation. We are known for producing the Shirakiku brand products. The Shirakiku name brand became popular in many Japanese households from the very start in the United States and is now recognized as a brand of choice all over the world. Today, Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. has expanded beyond just food products. We provide various customers with a comprehensive range of items, which includes wholesale items, kitchenware, household products to name a few. With over 5,000 items, we believe that we carry just about every imaginable product in this industry.




Our Company proudly hosts a Beverage and Food show for our customers. This educational and enjoyable event will highlight Sake, Shochu, and food tasting to help inform customers on the latest alcoholic beverages and food trends. We offer a culinary/ sake demonstration presented by chefs and bartenders. This Company hosted event will allow our sales team to promote our products and also works with our customers to help them keep their menu fresh and exciting.



We have developed a sales training program for our newly hired sales people to learn and improve on their selling techniques, skills, and process. Our training team engages the sales trainees and challenge them to build skills that will help them improve their sales dialogues with potential customers. The training program will allow employees to collaborate with others from different branch locations to network around the nation.
