Essential Functions: 1. Extensive experience with FAS109 tax accounting, including tax accounting for stock based compensation/FIN48. 2. Performs diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of supervisor, manager or partner. 3. Demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and Firm standards. 4. Meets time constraints and client deadlines. 5. Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements. 6. Directs and instructs assistants, where applicable, in work to be performed and working paper review. 7. Determines the extent of test-checking required in an audit and selects the transactions to be tested. 8. Prepares and indexes working papers; performs various procedures established under generally accepted accounting principles to verify the accuracy and validity of client’s financial matters. 9. Prepares complicated tax returns, and returns on dissolution or liquidation. 10. Suggest client tax planning ideas to supervisor, manager, or Partner. 11. Prepares routine correspondence to client for approval and signature of a Partner; writes comments for management letters. 12. Draft reports including footnotes. 13. Proactively takes ownership of projects, seeing them through to ultimate completion & delivery to client. 14. Performs the broadest range of accountant tasks so that direct participation of supervisors, managers, or Partners is kept to a minimum.
This is an immediate hire position.
Irvine CA(This position can go full remote)
40 hours/week. Mon-Fri.
60K ~ (DOE)
Sat & Sun. All National Holidays Observed.
1st and 2nd round interviews with HR and managers.
