光通信技術分野で世界初の製品を生み出してきた、研究開発型メーカー

【光測定器関連事業】 光通信関連の研究開発や生産活動に必須のツールを開発、製造販売する事業です。光通信関連の研究開発には、様々な波長（色）の光を実際に通すことで実験を重ねる必要があります。当社の「波長可変光源」製品は、主に光通信で用いられる波長帯の光を発生させる装置になります。こういった測定器は研究開発や製造工程などで必須のツールになっております。 【OCT関連事業】 光通信の枠から飛び出し、光の特性をセンシング技術に応用した製品を開発、製造販売する事業です。「広帯域波長可変光源」「高速波長可変光源」製品は、超高速のガス検知など、従来技術では不可能であったものを光技術で可能にしております。なかでも、幅広い波長の光を物体に照射して、その特性を確認することによって、検査対象にダメージを与えない断層映像装置（OCT = Optical Coherence Tomography)については、眼科向け医療装置に組み込まれるなど、実用化が進んでおり、今後も、広い分野で非破壊検査が可能になると期待されています。OCT技術は、既存の技術では見ることができなかったものを、リアルタイムに可視化することに成功しております。 【システム・ソリューション事業】 システム・ソリューション事業のみ、弊社で製品を開発、製造しておりませんが、場所や時間にとらわれず、遠くにある自分のPCを遠隔操作できるソフトウェアや、現場で撮影している映像を事務所でリアルタイムに共有しながらコミュニケーションができるスマートグラスといったものの販売・アフターサポートを行っております。

オフィス紹介

NJ Office

Our Fort Lee office is minutes from New York City. NJ office is the center for sales and administration department. Employees are from diverse cultures and many are bilingual. Our customers consist of large corporations, colleges and universities, and research institutes. Sales team will have the opportunity to visit customers as well as attend tradeshows. Santec hold social events for employees such as lunch or dinners, holiday parties and team bonding events. Santec maintains a causal but professional work environment.

CA Office

シリコンバレーの中心部にCAオフィスがあります。このオフィスには営業部と研究開発部があり、メンバーのほとんどがバイリンガルです。営業部は、北米の西部をテリトリーとし、シリコンバレーに所在する大手企業、有名大学や研究機関を顧客としています。研究開発部は、フォトニクス、医療画像、LiDAR開発などのエキサイティングなトピックに関連する高度な研究開発に従事しています。

研修制度

New hire will receive training and coaching from their manager. Orientation with HR department where employees learn about company policies and resources available to them. Some employees will have the opportunity to continue training in our headquarter located in Japan. Santec strongly encourage employees to continue learning and improve themselves. Company allocates budget for employees to take courses and attend seminars.
