Uber Operations team are responsible for growing and optimising the supply-side of the marketplace. What that really means is highlighting the Uber opportunity for as many potential driver/delivery-partners as possible. They typically start their days by diving into marketplace data and driver/delivery-partner feedback. An Ops goal is to identify trends through quantitative and qualitative data, and take action on them. What do Sales people do at Uber? At UberEATS, we want to give our customers variety of choices of restaurants and food that they can choose from. How can we provide this? Through acquiring new restaurants to join our UberEATS platform. Sales people manage external vendors as well as prospect, pitch and close restaurant partners.
