Amazon Senior Product Manager
After acquiring his Master's degree from Tokyo University, he pursued a career with an international consulting firm, then joined a successful IT startup. In 2013, he was sent to the San Francisco branch where he spent the next 4 years until its closure. After job hunting for half a year, he took a position at Amazon Seattle HQ as a product manager. From his job hunt experience in America, he now shares resources on English studies and job hunting via his Twitter and blog.

Sakai graduated from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (JAIST) in 2002. He joined NTT Docomo in 2004, then started his own business in Hawaii and operated for 2 years. In 2006, he joined a startup in the U.S. which later went bankrupt due to the 2008 stock market crash. In 2009 Sakai takes a position with NTTi3 and later joins his current company, Splunk, Inc. as a software engineer in 2012. Sakai currently resides in Silicon Valley and is actively sharing tech-related information on his Twitter page.
