Currently 14 years with the Ministry, Fukuoka is the Southwest Asia Director of Trade Policy. He began his global career in the health care division planning global expansion for Japanese medical companies. He then became a diplomat for the Japanese Embassy in Thailand. He built a health specialist training center in Thailand in hopes to promote his global expansion goals. He also assisted in electrical, railway and automobile manufacturing infrastructure projects. He received his Masters in Economics from Yale University and is currently working on Japan-China and Japan-U.S. cooperation and infrastructure planning projects as the principal deputy director of foreign trade promotion.

In 1981, Masaki Nakamura joined Nikkei, Inc. after graduating from Waseda University in political science and economics. On top of his work with the Japan sales division, he also worked at Nikkei America's LA and NY offices. From 2015, he has been working as Producer of the Business Consulting & Solutions Bureau. He has conducted countless seminars not only for business professionals, but also for young students and seniors on how to make it easier to read and analyze business/economic news.
