For current university students, L.E.K.'s Summer Internship program offers business experience and most analytical skillset to prepare you for any future opportunity in business school, industry, non-profits and investment firms. Our Intern Associates support the success of L.E.K. project teams. They are responsible for the comprehensive research, modelling and analysis that form the basis of each engagement. Under the guidance of senior team members, Intern Associates collect data on markets, competitors and customers, and perform the first stage of in-depth strategic and financial analysis. This enables the team as a whole to evaluate trends, develop conclusions and prepare practical recommendations. For current MBA students will find that L.E.K. 's Summer Internship program offers superior, diversified business training that prepares you for leadership and problem solving in any business organization. You will see more business situations and solve more issues than your peers at other firms. L.E.K. recruits one Consultant for every two Associates, meaning Consultants assume immediate managerial responsibility, providing daily direction to their Associate teams to ensure exceptional research and analysis. They are expected to contribute significant thought leadership and oversea complex projects, breaking issues into discrete work modules. Consultants are also responsible for turning analysis into actionable recommendations for the client, helping senior management to adopt and implement the recommended strategy, including the challenging task of building consensus and commitment to the plan.
